Up and coming artists and their work are presented to a regional audience in a professional setting. \nWhat is an Emerging Artist? An Emerging Artist is one who is early in their art career\, has limited experience exhibiting\, and seeks to further their creative work. Emerging Artists generally do not have an established resume of exhibitions\, but may have participated in group shows\, fairs and art competitions\, or art auctions. Candidates may not be professionally employed as a working artist. Please refer to the Prospectus for eligibility criteria. \nHow does our Gallery work? The Gallery collects applications from North Carolina artists who meet the entry criteria. Accepted artists are curated in for a two-month exhibition including an artist reception\, opportunity for an artist talk\, and promotional benefits through press releases and print/digital marketing. There is no cost to the artist to apply for this opportunity. \nArtwork is available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the artist and the MANN Center for the Arts.
