Lee County Horsin’ Around 4-H Club

August 27 @ 6:00 pm

Join the Lee County Horsin’ Around 4-H Club! Do you have a child who loves horses or one who’s simply curious and eager to learn? Horsin’ Around 4-H is a highly active equine club open to members in Lee and surrounding counties. We’d love to welcome your family! Our club blends hands-on horse learning, personal growth, and plenty of fun, all in a supportive, down-to-earth environment.

What We Do: We explore horse knowledge, riding skills, and horsemanship through real experiences. Members build confidence, practice public speaking, learn teamwork, and form strong friendships through activities like: Farm visits & demonstrations, Community service projects, Horsebowl and Hippology competitions, Fair exhibition opportunities, Art, photography, and creative horse-related projects

For families with horses and young riders, we also offer: Group practices & ride days, Local shows, Trail rides

Meeting Schedule: We meet twice a month on Thursday evenings (the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month) 6PM at the Lee County Extension Office in Sanford. Extra opportunities pop up throughout the year, including clinics, workshops, and special horse events.
