Lee County Libraries: Grand Opening Celebration of the New Main Library

Lee County Libraries will host the Grand Opening Celebration of the new main library on Saturday, May 2nd, located at 1740 Bragg Street in Sanford. The celebration runs from 10:00AM-4:00PM, beginning with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests can explore the new facility through building tours and enjoy a full day of live performances, food trucks, and various activities.
Due to limited on-site parking, a park-and-ride shuttle service will operate from O.T. Sloan Park between 9:30AM-4:30PM. Additional details about the library’s new features and the event schedule are available on the library’s official website.
