Free Military Community Resource, Education, and Career Fair

The Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center will host a free Military Community Resource, Education, and Career Fair on April 16, 2026, from 9:00AM-3:00PM. This free event is designed to connect veterans, service members, and their families with the resources they need to succeed, offering a wide range of support, including college prep, job search assistance, and housing and mental health resources, as well as connections to major educational institutions like NC State and Campbell University.

Career opportunities across various sectors such as technology, government, and manufacturing will be featured, alongside on-site Veteran Service Officers who can help attendees file claims the same day. Those interested in submitting a claim should bring their DD214 and relevant medical documents.
